TEA RECIPE: Bedtime Blend
as you might recall from my previous tea post, i tried bay leaf tea, and the results were... it's decent, but feels weird on the throat. well, a few nights ago, i figured that since the bay leaf is primarily used to enhance other flavors, i should add it to my usual nighttime tea. and man.... it was FANTASTIC!! so, here's the recipe for a delicious blend!!

for starters, we need to break down the ingredients of the pre-existing blend i had. im no gatekeeper, so the blend itself is Ginko Tea Life's Afternoon Delight blend. the ingredients for that are chamomile, mint, cinnamon, and licorice. you can hypothetically make the same blend at home, or buy it from the link provided- take your pick. then, all you really need to do is add the bay leaf. i work looseleaf, so i use a pot with an infuser. mine is this one , which i can acknowledge is pretty pricy, but thankfully HomeGoods has it for a cheaper price. boil your water, add your leaves, and wait a few minuted for it to brew. add sugar or milk to taste, and enjoy!!
