< TEA REVIEW: Bay Leaf Tea!!
yesterday, i made a joke post about how the culinary purpose of bay leaves is still a mystery to most people, and someone reccommended i try it as a tea... so i decided to give it a go!! bay leaves are pretty easy to access- they're at practically every grocery store you can think of, and i already have some at home- but they're mostly used in cooking. i've personally never heard of them being used in tea. so while my water was boiling and my leaves were brewing, i decided to do some digging!!

as i've already said, bay leaf as a tea is a relatively new concept to me, though i have had it in ice cream before. but after doing some digging, it can be brewed into tea to treat sinus infections, migraines, insomnia, and more. many herbs have their own respective health benefits, and it would seem this doesnt stop at bay leaves... looks like the tea's brewed. time to take a sip!!

usually, when i have tea. i have it with a lot of sugar... but for first-time reviews, much better to get the unfiltered flavor of the tea. in all honesty, it has a pretty subtle yet bitter taste and a slightly minty aftertaste, and it kinda makes my throat feel like it's taking psychic damage. despite my sweet tooth, i actually dont mind the flavor, and am most likely gonna have this tea again in the future. all in all, this one gets a 4/5!!
